We ended yesterday with a mini-sand storm that almost deterred us from running. If Jim hadn't agreed to go with us..and showed..I don't think we would've went! Mike running is still drastically improved. We did only four laps, and by the second lap Mike had fallen behind. I cruised along at my typical pace and upon finishing my four laps, stopped and turned to see how close Mike and Jim were behind me. Mike had only been a few feet behind and therefore passed the finish line only seconds after I did! I had my music so loud that I didn't realize he had caught back up. Had the lap been longer, I think it would've been a race to finish first ;)
Today was busy..not as much as yesterday..but still busy. I can definitely tell I'm itching to go on R&R. I think I'm particularly excited about this one because it'll be so different than anywhere else I've been. Tim has been filling our heads with stories and offering suggestions on where to go and what to see. I can't wait!
