It's unbelievable outside. I kid you not - less than a half hour ago Mike, Jason, and I walked around the building for our afternoon 'smoke break' and it was gorgeous outside. The sun was shining and the sky was clear. Now, it's bright orange and we have a full-blown sandstorm. You can barely see across the street!
Work has gone by fairly quickly today although it's hard to be motivated when you have less than three days until you head off to R&R. :) It's even harder to stay motivated when everyone reminds you of this! I seriously can't wait. I'm so excited to be going somewhere different...
It seems to be unbareably warm in my little corner of the world. They took half our air conditioners out several weeks ago. It's been ok so far, but today it just seems really hot...the kind of hot that makes your tummy churn. Ugh.
I suggested an idea for a "Create-Your-Own" Report function on the Reconstruction Website. Jim seemed to like the idea so now I'm writing up a proposal. It's actually kinda fun doing so because I'm Photoshopping all the screen shots as I foresee them. If it gets accepted, I'm sure Pete will have a fun time figuring out how to get it done. Speaking of Pete - he should be back tomorrow...although noone has heard from him since the ATM ate his Debit Card....and he didn't bring along any form of communication...Guess we'll find out if he made it in when he gets here! haha.
