Well! Carl and Pete are back. Pete seemed surprisingly bouncy considering he'd just been traveling for about a day straight. It's never fun flying for such a long time. He told us his adventures in Paris and England and described the conventions he attended. It sounds like he enjoyed England much more than Paris. He said the 'hotel' he reserved was actually a cottage with two rooms, a kitchen, etc...so I'm sure that was a nice surprise. Apparently his luggage was lost on the way in so he'll have some fun trying to get that back. He seems glad to be back..I'm sure it'll stay that way until he sees all the work we have in store for him tomorrow :) hehe.

I've been spending the day completing "How To" reports so everyone can do what I've been doing if need be (while we're gone). I've been told to plan on spending tomorrow translating to Pete what we need done. :) It seems hard for non-techy people to speak so techy people can understand. haha. Fortunately, I'm bi-lingual.

We decided to take off Greece and add Australia/New Zealand to our R&R prospects. I think it'd be a lot of fun to go scuba diving there too...especially with the Great Barrier Reef! Mike says he won't get in the water if we go there because of the Great White Sharks. I understand his concern but after doing the research, there have actually been just less than 700 shark attacks in the last 200 years...less than a third of which were fatal. (we're talking Australia only here) AND the statistics are MUCH higher on accidental drownings, etc. I was rather surprised at how high the yearly average for that was... Anyway. I obviously wouldn't get in the water if I saw a Great White swimming below but I see nothing wrong with getting in when I see none around!

Well, I'm being summoned.. Have a good one!

The Aussies have just created an innovative Shark Shield that repels Great Whites without hurting them. As a surfer, I am excited about it and I blogged about it today. www.shockacomm.com
