It's November already. That means I'm going on 6 months! I left Madison on May 8th - got to Baghdad on May 13th (Friday the 13th! Eeek!) It seems like time has flown by. Jim talked to me about how long I want to stay, etc. It sounds like there could be some good things in the works! We'll see. I'll let you know when I have something concrete. :)
Mike came to kickboxing last night AND he came to the gym this morning. (Aren't you proud!?) He said, when he woke, that he wasn't sore, but since lunch it seems his muscles have started to whimper! By tomorrow, they'll be screaming! :) haha. It's good for him and he did quite well in class. He even made it through all of the exercises!
We presented certificates to the students of my Excel Classes this morning. They seemed to really like the fact that they were being recognized for taking the class...and they really seem to enjoy taking pictures! I'll have to see if I can get any of them. Unfortunately though, I won't be able to post any of the pictures because we wouldn't want to get anyone in trouble for revealing they work here ;(...
The SIGIR report started today. Jim says he's going to see if it's even necessary that I continue these on a monthly basis. I may just need to complete them quarterly. (This was one of the good things we talked about)..that would definitely be nice. That would mean I wouldn't have to do one until January!
Mmmm..what else!? Nothing I guess! Have a great November 1st!
