INCOMING!
We had a little scare today. Several of our coworkers raced inside our compound instructing immediate U3 Protection. They had been returning from lunch when a couple rockets zoomed past overhead. Moments later, military personnel guided everyone to a designated area of the building and requested that sector leads account for all employees. Everyone huddled together waiting for an "All Clear" with a voice from a walki-talki confirming the incoming rockets in the background. As people relaxed, everyone brought out the cameras and took pictures of people standing around in full battle gear - others took out cards to play a little game (including us) and we waited until we were allowed to return to our desks. Word is at least seven rockets landed within the IZ - one of which was a dud. Fortunately, that was the one closest to us! I will not specify the proximity of these rockets to our location for security purposes...you can ask me later! Now that the excitement is over, we sit back at our desk continuing our work as if nothing happened. Life goes on! haha.
Last night Mike beat up on Frank in Halo 2 (XBox). It was amusing to watch, especially when Frank got skunked on a (as Frank puts it) 'gift' match. Apparently the map they played is one Mike has thoroughly memorized. Frank even labeled it "Mike's favorite". After XBox, we went to kickboxing. I tried to emphasize on kicks/legs. It was fun. :)
Tonight is Poker Night. I have my fingers crossed that I won't lose again, but we know how much good that does for me! Wish me luck! Have a great day!
