Lunch today was a going away party for our friend Judy. We came to know her through our kickboxing class, and now she's leaving Iraq. This was her second tour here and she anticipates another in possibly a year. :) We'll miss her!

I believe I finished the SIGIR report today. I will brush through it again tomorrow to check for any obvious errors but then I'm done. YAY! That's what I focused on today. I didn't take my eyes off it because I was so close to being complete.

We had a meeting today concerning all the new dates that are now in the system. It was humorous watching Jason lead the meeting. I believe he was anticipating a lot of heat concerning the topic so as he discussed each date, he did so in a "This is how it is and there's nothing you can do about it" tone. In the end - noone asked questions - noone commented. I almost think people were afraid to. Good job Jason! haha.

It'll be Mike's first night back to kickboxing since we returned from R&R. I know I was quite sore after returning so I anticipate him to be complaining over the next few days..that is if he puts full effort into the exercises. I attempted to do what I was capable of doing when before I left and it was apparent that I had already lost some muscle. You really gotta keep this stuff up!

We finally finished moving last night. I have all of my stuff crammed into my room. Most of my stuff seems to be stuffed in the cubbies under the bed. If I'm ever looking for anything - I think that'll be the first place I look. It's looking a little bit warmer and I'm getting more used to it, but as of right now, I still miss my old room. There was more moving room in there and it wasn't so hard to make the bed. I'll have to take a picture so you can see how little room I have. Imagine this: It's a 12 X 9 room where 3X3 is a bathroom - leaving 9x9 for the two beds we have in there. Each bed is approximately 3x6...that means I have a 3 foot wide space at the foot of the bed and the side of the bed. At the foot of the bed is a desk. It's approximately 2.5x3..so now I have a 3x3 space at the foot of the bed (where the door opens) and a 3 foot wide aisle down the side of the bed to get to the bathroom. In the space next to the bathroom is the closet of which half contains the 'cabinet'..so I only have half a closet for my hamper and all my clothes and then the cabinet...plus the I need room to get into the bathroom. Very cramped. Ok. Mike's room on the other hand contains the remaining items: the two night stands, a desk, a cabinet, and two bookshelves stacked on top of each other. It's nice and open - so we spend most of our time in there. While it's nice to have this 'living area', it still is a pain to have a room that is made up of bed! We need to get a love seat or lazy boy in that 'living area' room..haha. Ok - I'm done complaining now!

Time to go home! YAY!
