Today was finally slow enough that I was able to make some progress on my HR Database in Access. I'm pretty proud of myself. :) I'm being very thorough on my descriptions, comments, and column headings and trying to make it as fool proof as possible. I decided to recruit another co-worker (who works Stateside) on the project. I thought it might be a good idea since she has more experience than I in the program and I would hate to get the HR team excited about a prospect and let them down because I'm too busy to finish something I've started...or even figure it out. :) Two creative minds are better than one!

Mike and I watched "Next" last night with Nicolas Cage. I thought it was pretty good although confusing at times. It was hard to tell when he was seeing his future and when he wasn't. I can definitely see how the ability could be a blessing and a curse.

Mike has been put into a new position which has involved him with more meetings. It seems like poor Mike has spent more time in meetings than not the last couple of days. :) His new position deals heavily with tracking and analyzing the sector finances - something I think he'll excel at. Who knows? :) Maybe he'll finally learn what the word 'deadline' means :) (thus far he has been blessed with not having any)

I know I'm jinxing us now, but it has been remarkably quiet the last few days. Let's hope it stays that way.
