It is now mandatory that we receive the Anthrax vaccination. It's a six shot series of painful injections in the arm. Everyone reacts differently. Side effects include a hard, painful bump and/or extreme soreness. So far, I'm noticing neither. Fingers crossed that that remains the case ;) Mike ended up not having to get his due to an allergy to latex. He has to gain proof that he is allergic in order to remain exempt. Guess that means he'll be getting a prick test!
Our preparation for this morning's meeting paid off. The meeting ran smoothly. There were several people new to the meeting that can't necessarily say the same but they'll get better with time. The Commanding General commended everyone for their work on the program, emphasizing that no matter how little a part everyone plays, they're all working together for the common good...and despite that fact that all you hear are the negatives here, there is a lot of good going on and we're all a part of that.... It was a nice little speech....
After a really busy weekend, we have a really quiet beginning-of-the-week to look forward to. It'll be a great opportunity to get some stuff done.
