One thing I definitely like about this job is how time flies. I just looked at the clock and realized I had less than a half hour at work and I hadn't written my blog yet...AND I still have other items I want to complete before I leave....so I may be late going home. :P

I finished the report I've been working on this morning. I had intended on completing it last night, and even returned after yoga to do so, but wasn't able to complete it. It's amazing how much the connection slows down at work once everyone returns to their hooches.  I suspect it's due to everyone conferencing with their families and downloading whatever it is they download.

Baghdad was under curfew again so much of my team was unable to come in.  Fortunately, it was a fairly quiet day (as far as their work is concerned) so I wasn't scrambling to cover things....

We've officially booked everything for our upcoming vacation. Fingers crossed that all goes smoothly. I've granted my coverage permission to contact me as necessary while I'm on leave so that any problems can be taken care of when they come rather than having me come back to a nightmare. I don't think it will come to that but I think my coverage was comforted by the fact that he wasn't abandoned.
