Wow. I'm not doing very well with the whole blog thing lately. This is the second day in a row that I'm squeezing it in as I'm rushing out the door.

Today is my anniversary! It was on this day, three years ago, that I arrived in Baghdad to take this position. Aww. No one else remembered. :) Poo.

Class went well last night. Much better than I anticipated. It was a small crowd, though more than I expected, and a small room so it worked out well. The room was well equipped for music but not for exercise. No mats on the floor to add friction and padding...floor exercises were uncomfortable and cardio semi-dangerous (due to the slippery floors)...and the choreographed routines were actually awkward without the usual mirrors and secondhand clock....all were still enthusiastic which I really appreciated. I woke up feeling it and have grown steadily more sore throughout the day. :) Can't wait for tomorrow! Maybe it'll earn me a massage tonight. :)
