Mike took a couple hours off today to knock out some of the packing we have ahead of us. Right now we're estimating it will take approximately 6-8 foot lockers. (oi) I think what we'll end up doing with most of our stuff is consolidating a list of items we would rather just leave behind and distribute it amongst our favorite people for first come first serve selection. For some things, we would just pay in shipping what it would cost to replace it new! I have a feeling our first month or so home will be a big hit to the pocket book as we update our wardrobes/interior furnishings and stock up on living essentials...
We sent out a half dozen apartment showing requests for our new city of residence. Mike found some pretty nice places. We decided the following are "must haves": In unit laundry, garage/secure underground parking (prefer garage for the motorcycle...or at least an outside access storage room that I could park it in), and a study/second bedroom. :) Simple demands!
