We had a brief conversation with the boss about our return to civilization. Destination: St. Louis, Time frame: By April. It's nice to have something to work towards...I guess that means I better start packing my boxes!
I was particularly self conscious about my appearance last night. My legs were shedding full force from my Zanzibar sunburn and it was disgusting. The exposed shedding starts on my butt and covers the full length of my thighs (inner thigh was spared) through mid-shin. Flakes of skin molted from my body throughout yoga. I have never been one to work out in long-legged attire so I don't own anything that could hide the sight. I left yoga a few minutes early so I could help it along in the bathroom before kick boxing.. didn't really work. Good news is, I'm not looking quite as diseased today so maybe it'll be better by tomorrow (in time for the next class). I actually had quite a few fair-skinned participants urge me to be careful in the sun because they have had skin cancer removed from their bodies...scary thought. Fortunately, burning like this (and sunning like I did) is not a normal activity for me.
Time to return to my hooch.
