It's a slow start to the work week! I would say we had a pretty decent weekend. Friday night, we braved the storm outside from inside the movie theater. It was opening night of Angels and Demons. I was really surprised at how empty the theater was. It was an excellent book, possibly better than the Da Vinci Code. I thought the movie was pretty good. I've read the book so long ago that the changes from the book didn't bother me much.

I had hoped to go mountain biking on Saturday but with the torrential downpour Friday I figured the trails wouldn't be too fun...especially for two people who've never gone before. (See, I am nice!) Instead, we drove out to Washington country for the Wine & Art Fair. After a browse through the local art booths, we hung around the wine tasting tent until every taste test ticket was spent. ;) With 13 different wines tasted, I didn't find a single one that appealed to my palette more than my Little Boomey...it just can't be beat! We ended the afternoon at Home Depot shopping for some house plants and potters. I think we found some pretty cool ones. Just need to keep them alive now ;)

My sister left us yesterday for her long drive back to Pennsylvania. We had a nice time with her visiting over the past week especially since I hadn't spent any significant time with her in the past ... ohhh...three years or so.. Plus we got to see some sites we hadn't taken time to see yet.. Soo good times.
