Well, the inevitable has sprung on us.  It seems Mike has been called in and will be leaving THIS SUNDAY!  Since I'm heading to Wisconsin for the weekend, this means the last day I'll see him for probably a month (more or less) is Friday. :( It's going to be lonely without him! Boo.

It also means that an upcoming trip to Tennessee is postponed AND Mike will probably not be available to offer his services as fryer guy at the annual Fish Day.  I had looked forward to going to Tennessee to see both Mike's family and a good friend ... both of which we haven't seen in a LONG time.  'Tis the life we signed up for. :(

This also means it will be a daily run for me back to our apartment to care for our pets.  I asked if I could bring our dog in as an office pet for a few weeks but the idea short lived. :( Bummer!

I'm going through the process of switching computers today too... I can never seem to transfer all the files in the first run...and I hate discovering last minute, which programs I haven't bothered to install.  What a pain.
