We FINALLY took the recycling to the drop off center. What a pain in the rear. Our apartment complex doesn't participate in the county's recycling program. In an effort to be Green, we have decided we will save our recyclables and drop them off at the center. Saving is easy. ;) Removing them from their temporary area, putting them in the car, driving them a half hour to the nearest center, and unloading is the challenging part. I think we will make a point not to allow them to accumulate so much next time. lol.

We dined with a visiting relative (who prefers to minimize presence on the internet so shall remain nameless and genderless) last night at a new (to us) local restaurant. I really enjoyed the place. It had a nice, relaxed atmosphere, great food, and excellent service. It's owned by the same people who own the restaurant Mike took me to for my birthday. Comparatively, this place is more casual. I can definitely say, we will return.

We just had a freak thunderstorm which will supposedly be followed by several more throughout the evening. It rolled in quickly, turning the sunny sky into dark clouds within minutes. Piercing downpour, high winds, and pea-size hail wrecked havoc in the area. We even lost power at both offices...all the while, I sat staring at my motorcycle cursing the morning's weather forecast of pleasant weather all week. PLEASE let the weather subside for my ride home.

I have fallen inlove with a Harley I am trying to convince Mike that is not too big for me. I think I deserve one for my 44th birthday! or a several carat diamond ring upgrade LOL! I will prolly get flowers:( Did you go to a motorcycle school?

Havagan - Niiiiice. I don't think you would see me riding with snowfall like that... bike goes away with the salt trucks unfortunately...(unless we're taking it off road...exception to be made there..) happily, it was back to sunny skies by time I went home...

Shannon - I actually learned to ride on a friend's farm with a Enduro bike...then took it to the road and eventually upgraded to a 500cc Ninja...THEN I took a safety class in place of the road test through the area technical college. The class reduced my insurance rate so that was an added bonus. After a year on the Ninja (well, two Ninjas because the first was totaled when a car T-boned me) I bumped up to an Yamaha R6 and now Honda CBR600RR. I'm happy with 600cc - it's just the right size for me and does AWESOME in the corners... I've ridden larger but just don't find them to be my cup of tea.

Which Harley are you looking at? And are you licensed?

No, I am not licensed. this is just a new desire. I have only operated dirt bikes. I don't even know the name of the bike I rode the other day. I will find out soon though. Just kinda fell inlove with it and started daydreaming about touring etc.. Midlife crisis stuff:)
