Three days off, three days of golfing. The weather forecast deterred us from driving up north. Spending 10+ hours in the car only to play cards in the cabin just didn't appeal....sooo, we took the time off anyway and played on the local courses. By the third day, my wrists and shoulders were crying from overuse (do you feel sorry for me?). ;) I DO feel like I'm improving even though I haven't spent time with a pro... I've combined the tips received from multiple helpful golfers and made them my own...the ball seems to be moving in the right direction with greater consistency..just gotta keep at it ;)
I also made Ricotta cookies over the weekend and brought them into work. They were an instant hit (again). One of these days, I'm going to put the icing on that it calls for...they're just so good without!
Nick also came back from his short term in Baghdad. Good to have him back.
My husband and I WERE contractors in Iraq supporting the reconstruction effort. We’re still on the program, but now from the good ol’ USA. We continue to keep this blog updated on a regular basis for our family and friends. Welcome!
