It was a rather eventful day today!
It seems there was a little violence going on in Baghdad today. We were put under lockdown twice. The first time due to incoming indirect fire... and the second time due to incoming mortars. The military brought in the apache helicopters and jets so we also ran outside like little kids to watch the jets circling overhead. It was really quite amazing to see how fast the jets flew.
It's going to be a late night for me. I have to finish the Quarterly reports (fun fun) and ensure everything is set up before I leave. Can't leave my girl stranded!
My husband and I WERE contractors in Iraq supporting the reconstruction effort. We’re still on the program, but now from the good ol’ USA. We continue to keep this blog updated on a regular basis for our family and friends. Welcome!

Ｉlike watching jets fly over me,... only thing is I wish I have handy ear plugs on those occasions.
