There is one thing about this place that always keeps you on your toes: the constant changes. I know I've said it numerous times, but every time you leave on R&R, you have to be re-taught your position. The only advantage you have over a newbie is that you already know how the system/people work (granted that is a significant advantage). Positions change, people change out, reports evolve, etc. etc. You really learn to be flexible and...patient. I really think I have gained A LOT of patience since I started here. That's a good thing..just ask my mom. ;) I needed it. haha.

X is out on R&R again so the kick boxing class is mine again. I was really looking forward to having him teach for a while. He's in FAR better shape and he pushes you to work upper body. I do not pride myself in my upper body strength and therefore avoid related exercises (push-ups, etc.) more so than he would (certainly not all together). It's one thing I want to get better at, but not something I want to make a fool of myself by not being able to do. It's hard to motivate a class when you're too worn out from pushing yourself up off the ground or can't handle it yourself. The definite plus about teaching is I always put forth my full effort in whatever exercises I choose to put the class through and therefore get more out of it than if X were teaching the exact same class.

I get to head home early today! Adios!
