I can't believe it. The only thing standing between Mike and his official exclusion from the Anthrax shot is a latex allergy test. He's been putting it off for the past two weeks and today, I finally got him to go only to find the dermatology office closed. ;) As Mike has become used to saying, "Maybe tomorrow". If we fail to complete the Anthrax series, we will be forced to go home. They're taking it quite seriously...so no more procrastinating! ;) Today was the second of the series for me which mean a bump in the right arm to match the one already existing in the left.
Our preparation for the sub-briefer in today's meeting seemed to pay off as he did a spectacular job. The meeting was by far the shortest of its kind I've attended. :) Quite nice.
Mike's been finding a lot of nice chateau's in Normandy for our trip and I received a book I ordered on B&Bs in Norway. We also finalized our accommodation in Amsterdam. Seems like the bookings are coming along quite nicely. I'm also seriously considering getting travel insurance on this trip.... we'll see.
My husband and I WERE contractors in Iraq supporting the reconstruction effort. We’re still on the program, but now from the good ol’ USA. We continue to keep this blog updated on a regular basis for our family and friends. Welcome!
