I managed to only work two hours yesterday! Yahoo! It was really nice..and I didn't do my laundry so all I really did was sit on my bum and relax. Some of our neighbors invested in a kiddie pool and spent the day in luxury. It was rather amusing to watch.
I received some packages today! Some were presents for Mike..and some for me! My mom sent me some stuff I couldn't get sent to APO. They included my new yoga mat along with a bag for it that she made me! It turned out really nice and I've already received numerous compliments! Thanks mom!
There was a surprising turnout at kick boxing. I figured everyone would ditch with it being a holiday but I had a bigger turnout than I had the class prior. Maybe everyone needed to burn off the big lunches they had. :)
After class, Mike and I joined a BBQ for some AWESOME chicken. It's so nice to steer clear of the DFAC now and then. It seems they are on a regular schedule there. You can pretty much predict what you'll be dining on for each meal. We took over our DVD we received at our Shark Diving Trip. It was pretty fun watching it while offering further details of the whole trip!
My husband and I WERE contractors in Iraq supporting the reconstruction effort. We’re still on the program, but now from the good ol’ USA. We continue to keep this blog updated on a regular basis for our family and friends. Welcome!
