I'm running out the door so I'm going to make this quick: Hmm.... the latest.
This is the first of three where we didn't have a wake up call from the C-RAM with something flying over and completely missing the IZ/our area of the IZ. Everyone, of course, has to lock down and wait for the all clear. I'm not complaining!
It seems that 90% of the Iraqi Associates working with us will be obtaining their Visas and heading to the US over the next several months. Happy for them but sad to see them go. They are the people we love and trust. They are incredibly smart and care about their country. If they go, who will be left?
I had to go into a pre-brief with the General which is a first for me. I was requested to come as support. I think we did pretty good. Plus I came equipped with chocolate. You'd be amazed at how far that gets you. :) Yes I know - I'm a suck up. haha!
I'm outta here!
