It's FINALLY Friday! haha. What a way to start off the day - with two major carbombs. I haven't had a chance to check the news, but I hear the casualty count is up to six. They really seem to be pounding us lately... After the mortars we had last night, it was a little nerve racking to hear booms right away in the morning. The first word was that this morning's blasts were more incoming mortars. If this were true, the mortars had to be really, REALLY close judging from how loud the booms were. It made me really worried because Mike was still in his room (he slept in this morning....) When I called him to make sure he answered, he was outside smoking a cigarette! haha. His assumption was they were doing a controlled detonation with the dud we had last night! The lock down that resulted from this activity caused us and many others to be late to football practice. :P That went well overall. We even gained a girl! :) We started out doing just general practice and then scrimmaged for a while. We decided that we're going to have a warm-up before the game. I think it'll be helpful. Mike and I have another hour or so that we're going to work and then it'll be a fun filled afternoon of laundry, ironing, and cleaning. Tonight's kickboxing for the both of us, unless Frank can convince Mike to play chess and Halo 2. He injured his foot playing football so that might hold him back too....we'll see in a few hours. Hope everyone finishes off their week well! Have a great day!
