What a day! (Ok. So it really wasn't THAT exciting) Mike and I did manage to relax last night AND we didn't do any laundry. To make up for it, we're going to do laundry tonight while we throw ball with Jim and Jason after kickboxing. We did get up for the gym this morning (even Mike!) and work has been going smoothly. I wrote my first VBA code! I've written computer programs before however never with Excel. Jason needed something done and our usual VBA programmer wasn't available so I gave it a shot! SUCCESS! All it needed to do was insert a row based on the information within the spreadsheet - so, yes, it was simple..but it was a start! :) I would really like to become competent at it. Practice makes perfect!
We also had our Project Controls Meeting today. It wasn't eventful as our last meeting was. Tomorrow is a holiday for us. Since Friday's are our weekend, they are recognizing Veteran's Day tomorrow. We will get paid holiday pay in addition to any hours we decide to work. I don't think I'll work a full day since the SIGIR report is pretty far along. I just don't want to think I am done and then realize that I missed something major and end up crunched in the end.
Tonight is kickboxing night. Let's see if I can give Mike and Jim a good workout. Wish me luck!
Have a great day everyone.
