HAPPY BELATED NEW YEAR EVERYONE! I just realized I forgot to do that yesterday...sorry! It has been swamped these last couple days. The new year means new baselines. Schedules get recalculated and reports get redrawn. Good thing I wrote that macro to get the SIGIR started or I'd be WAY behind! :D
Mike and I didn't do anything special to celebrate the New Year. It was just like any other day. Mike did take off work an hour early, but that's about it. The New Year came and went basically unnoticed.

We took last night off and watched some movies. It was nice to just sit back and relax - especially after a long day staring at the computer screen. It seems like everyone is leaving soon. People are migrating back to the states or to some other country they fell in love with while on R&R. Seems like pretty soon it'll just be Mike and I here!

I got an email yesterday from my friend Lucas. He sent us an email in November stating him and Belle were to be wed the following Saturday (yikes!) AND NOW we get an email that Belle is due in June! (No wonder for the quick wedding!) I can't even imagine Lucas expecting...I couldn't even imagine him getting married! How things change...

Mike's brother, Andrew is also engaged now. I can't recall whether I mentioned that already..but regardless - they have set the date to be in July. Our next R&R is in May..and we can't go back to the states....not for long anyway. We'll have to see if we can find a way to make it. I wish they would do in October! That's the next time we'll be home for sure!

Well..time to go home. I'll have to drag Mike away from his projects. He has seriously taken a nosedive into some very messed up records. What fun!
