The locals are back! Whew! Every one of them came in with smiles on their faces. They seemed very happy to be coming back to work. What a relief! I'm still not sure why noone showed yesterday.. Whenever I ask them about what's going on outside, they say it's very bad but they don't go into much more detail than that. It's probably better that way!

We had a lockdown today just after lunch. I guess there was an explosion that was not from enemy attack/fire - although I'm not sure as to the specifications (they didn't inform us). Regardless, it was a bit of a scare for many of us because we were returning from lunch and the blast was very near by. Mike and I ended up locked in our rooms. Better than work! :) haha.

I think I've found the PERFECT place for Chiang Mai. It's a Bed & Breakfast just across the river from the night life. So it'll be a little quieter and yet in walking distance of everything. Check it out!

Mmm..whatelse. The day's gone by pretty quickly and I'm getting a little further on my PHP. Hooray for me! Kickboxing was torture on Saturday..it's made my rear sore for the last couple days..Did I mention that I'll be teaching on Saturdays from now on? X is going to be teaching class at the Palace on that evening (and Tuesdays and Thursdays) so I'm back! Woohoo! I'm a little excited because I know a lot of people want to incorporate abs into the class, and X isn't big on that...so I'll do it! :)

Ok. Time for me to get back to work. Hope you guys have a GREAT Monday!
