Mike is decidedly getting good practice for when we have kids. I would say our cat is having a harder than usual time settling into the new place. A couple days ago, the cat got stuck behind the drier and pulled the drier hose out of the back of the drier in its attempt to get out. Neither the drier nor the washer can be moved far from the wall and the side walls prevent easy access to the rear of the machines so Mike had to dangle me upside down behind the machine in order to reconnect it...and then this morning, curiosity trapped the cat inside the boxspring of the old bed. A small hole acted as access and then it couldn't find the hole again...or perhaps chose not to. We ended up guiding it towards the hole and then eventually cutting it out. Lol. :) I hope I never have to cut one of my kids out of the boxspring.
With my new workout schedule, Mike has been gaining some good experience in the kitchen in the evening. Last night was finally an exception as he let me cook. :) I made mashed potatoes, steamed some fresh green beans, and shrimp! Isn't being back in the real world grand?
