Well, the baton is passed. I have now accepted more responsibility at work. I have actually gone full circle as I'm becoming involved with stuff that I worked on when I first arrived...just from a different angle and location. Should be fun. I find it amusing how much and how little has changed since I was in the seat.
Something is definitely funky with my knee. It didn't appreciate yesterday's work out at all. Today is an off day and then I have two days of yoga so that should help it. Not happy.
It sounds like we may take my sister to the gun range tonight. The weather is supposed to get rough tonight and looking out the window, it looks like it's starting early.... soooo...we'll see. I don't want to be driving anywhere in foul weather. They are advertising dangerous winds, potential hail, and possible tornadoes! ;) At least we'll sleep well.
One of our partner's took us out for lunch today. It was nice to eat together and we had some fun conversations. We actually talked a bit about the short video my dad and I are supposed to make to complete our application for the Amazing Race. We have a creative bunch! I was impressed. ;)
Hmmm... I just realized that if I were still in Iraq, today would be my 4th anniversary. ;)
My husband and I WERE contractors in Iraq supporting the reconstruction effort. We’re still on the program, but now from the good ol’ USA. We continue to keep this blog updated on a regular basis for our family and friends. Welcome!
