SOPs and demo/instructional videos was my life today...surprisingly, the day still went by quickly. I figured I'd familiarize myself with the new processes for my newly re-acquired position... I'm not shocked that not much has changed and I anticipate an easy transition.
We took my sister to the gun range and shopping last night.. I must say, Mike is getting pretty good at this. I'm getting better but at a slower rate it appears. ;) Maybe he was just having a lucky night. ;) We took too long at the range to spend much time at the mall but the short period was put to good use. My sister managed to snag several shirts that she'll be able to wear for her new position....and I think got sticker shock from her desired suits. We will hit the malls again tonight and hopefully put this requirement to bed.
My sister and I tried an "open" rated class today for yoga ("open" is intended for all levels). It was nice. They kept the poses simple but offered a lot more flow to the routine which I enjoy. The instructor was the one who subbed for my usual class a couple weeks ago so I was pretty sure I would not be disappointed. I wasn't!
My husband and I WERE contractors in Iraq supporting the reconstruction effort. We’re still on the program, but now from the good ol’ USA. We continue to keep this blog updated on a regular basis for our family and friends. Welcome!
