The Micato personal touch continues.

Loyal readers may recall Mike and I toured Africa with Micato in January. We had a grand time and detailed our adventure in this blog. It seems Micato has recently stumbled upon our entries and final review. Over the weekend, we received the movie "Out of Africa" by post. We had remarked after visiting the author's home that we had not seen the movie or read the book. Having read that, Micato set out to ensure we had the opportunity to do so and sent us the movie. :) It's not the first time we've heard from them since our trip. They also sent us an awesome coffee table book of safari photos and narrative. There's no doubt they deserve their spot ranked at the top!

We spent the holiday weekend visiting family and friends in Wisconsin. We had made reservations with friends at an up-scale steak and seafood restaurant near Milwaukee. There we filled up on crab legs and lamb chops before trying our luck at the casino. The men in the group definitely fared better than the ladies! Not fair :P

Mike went golfing while I went to my best friend's son's birthday party with my Mom. The two year old was spoiled with play mates, presents, and chocolate cake. I'm sure he slept well that night...and I can't imagine him getting bored anytime soon with all the new toys he received.

Grandma and Grandpa got to babysit our dog Maisey too. They were kind enough to take temporary custody of her while we were in Iraq...and there's no doubt Maisey was spoiled under their care!
