Well, Mike did quite excellent for our Anniversary. I bought him a pair of Mark Nason boots he had been eying for too long and cooked a seafood dinner with cheesecake dessert. He presented me with a Tiffany's necklace with four diamonds representing four years of blissful marriage and hand delivered a beautiful bouquet of flowers with a happy sock monkey friend to keep me company in the office. :) His Mother taught him well. :)

The countdown to my sister's arrival has now started. She is due to arrive on Friday so that gives us three days to ensure the spare room is available (it's a bit cluttered at the moment..and probably will still be when she's here, but at least the bed won't be) and the apartment is presentable. She shall be our first guest! I'm guessing we should probably pick up some extra food too...wouldn't want her to feel she has to fend for herself the whole time she's here. We may take her visit as an opportunity to see the St. Louis landmarks - the Arch and the Botanical Gardens are high on our list. Between that and the planned bowling, mountain biking, target practice, dancing, roller blading, yoga/gym time, and shopping, we should keep her entertained!
