It's always nice when the day is busy enough that time flies by unnoticed. Of course, that means I'm rushed to get his blog in. Mike wants to head to the store to slip in some shopping in between work and yoga so I want to ensure I head out on time. ;)
We tried out a new Mexican restaurant last night in celebration of Cinco de Mayo... I guess I hadn't realized how celebrated the holiday was - at least in St. Louis. The restaurant was jam packed with people, a live band offered 80s tunes, and we received our food before our drinks from the bar... guess that tells you how backed up the bar was! It was still a good time and I enjoyed my chips and dip and chimichanga. :) Do you know what Cinco de Mayo recognizes? Don't cheat!
My husband and I WERE contractors in Iraq supporting the reconstruction effort. We’re still on the program, but now from the good ol’ USA. We continue to keep this blog updated on a regular basis for our family and friends. Welcome!
