One more day till Mike plays the birthday boy! I wonder what surprises he will receive :) hehe.
Mike took his motorcycle out for the first time last night and he didn't crash! lol. He did quite well actually. We started in a nearby (empty) parking lot so he could ride around in circles and figure eights without traffic sneaking up on him...and once he seemed comfortable with breaking, shifting, turning, and starting from a stop, we took to the open road. I let him lead in our game of "Follow the Leader" while we wandered through the side streets of Creve Coeur. It was the first time I had really explored the area off the main roads leading to our apartment...not a bad neighborhood! :)
My husband and I WERE contractors in Iraq supporting the reconstruction effort. We’re still on the program, but now from the good ol’ USA. We continue to keep this blog updated on a regular basis for our family and friends. Welcome!
