Mike called me this morning with good news. He was headed to the airport! Provided all goes well with his flights, I will hear from him again when he changes planes in Dulles for his last leg coming home. :D Yay!

The sale couldn't have transpired more smoothly. The seller and I both arrived early. The seller went over nice-to-know details regarding the bike and exchanged all of his keys and documentation specific to the bike, for a nice cashiers check made out to his name. The bike came with three keys (crazy!)...one of which is red and is reportedly related to servicing the bike. The seller advised that the key should be kept away from the bike while it's running and a copy of the keys cannot be made without it... I think I will have to verify the purpose of the red key...or rather Mike will.. :) lol. Now Mike just needs to come home, take his instruction permit test, and take his bike in to shop for the state-required safety inspection (the tags are out of date). May as well get an oil change, etc. right away too. ;) Can you tell I'm happy about the bike sale? Curvy roads here we come!
