Today was the big meeting that we prepared for all weekend. Jen was out sick so I was flying solo again. It seemed like everything that could go wrong, was, at first. People wanted last minute changes, the printers weren't cooperating, the conference room was booked disallowing prep-time, the phones didn't work properly, etc. etc. It all worked out in then end and the meeting ran smoothly.
After the meeting, I was busy enough to skip lunch and eat on the run. One of the people we work with picks up bread and cheese for us every morning so it wasn't a problem finding yummy food to eat but I would have preferred the break for a few minutes. It wasn't till later in the afternoon that I stopped running.
Our safe finally arrived. It'll be nice to have that security. Now we just need to find a place to put it. It's just like a hotel safe with a digital pad and everything and it was pretty reasonably priced. If we could have gotten free shipping with it, it would've been a really good deal! ;)
My husband and I WERE contractors in Iraq supporting the reconstruction effort. We’re still on the program, but now from the good ol’ USA. We continue to keep this blog updated on a regular basis for our family and friends. Welcome!
