Happy Birthday Mike!

Happy Birthday to you!

What birthday is complete without birthday cake? NONE! We stalled Mike from going home early all day so we could *surprise* him with yummy birthday cake and a birthday song (shown above hehe). He SAYS he hates the birthday recognition but I think deep down he really loves it. :) At least that's what I choose to believe (and don't try to convince me otherwise!)

I broke down and gave Mike's his presents early last night. He seemed to like most of them. What did I get him you ask? I'll tell you! A few little things, a book, a knife, a knife maintenance kit, and a decent set of headphones! Pretty exciting huh? It is VERY hard to shop for someone who buys everything he sees and thinks he wants. :) .. especially when you're in Iraq and don't get to go shopping for the neat and new. My mom's box arrived with perfect timing too! Mike seemed to like his assorted goodies. I never knew they made Twizzlers in so many flavors! AND I have NEVER seen Germ-X in such large containers! yikes!

I pushed everyone hard with abs and cardio last night. My abs are even crying. We through in a few yoga poses which most people enjoyed. I tried one back exercise, called swimming, which I really enjoyed but a few men complained it was painful for them. It requires you lie on your tummy and flutter your extended arms and legs. Guess it is uncomfortable in a general sensitive area. :) Wusses. (ha!)
