Just another day in Baghdad! I touched base with an old friend this morning. Pete Schuck. Anyone remember him? It was nice catching up. Today has gone by rather quickly. I've been working on the SIGIR report in between the frequent data requests. Our normal P3 guy's R&Rs overlapped by a day (I mentioned this yesterday - I know) so everyone has been coming to me instead. It's actually been nice because I've been forced to be confident enough to try it! haha. Primavera constantly tells you it's saving the changes so I'm always worried that I did something to the system! I think I'm actually getting the hang of it though. I really want to learn it better because it'll be a great program to have on my resume.
Iris was nice last night. She cooked us dinner! We had macaroni and cheese and some german hotdogs. I love german hotdogs...they're so much crisper! Yummmm....I took it a little easier on everyone last night. I just wasn't in the mood to over exert myself. Mike and I went a little early to do some spinning before class. We watched the jutzitzu (I'm positive that is incorrect spelling) that was going on. I think I want to try it one of these times. It's basically a fighting/self-defense class. You learn to kick, punch, knee, etc. Everyone wears gloves/major pads and does these series of kicks, etc. against each other. Ok. Let me rephrase myself. I want to try it one of these times as long as I'm not the one getting beat up. haha! I saw a girl in it once, and the instructor just allowed her to hit him and he didn't hit her back. If you saw the people who take this class - you'd understand!
It's poker night tonight. I dont know if I like this whole paying $20 to play cards for a while. I don't seem to ever bring anything home. I think I will have to play a little more conservatively tonight. We'll see what my luck brings me. :) Have a great day everyone!
