Mmm..why is that a flight from Amman, Jordan to Bangkok, Thailand costs almost as much as a flight from Chicago to Bangkok? I looked up a few flights today for our next R&R and it looks like it's going to be a costly one as far as flights go. Fortunately, rooms/etc. should be very cheap. We're planning on going to Thailand for a week - week and a half at the end of May and then flying over to China for one more week before we return to Baghdad. We're going to China to visit my sister...hopefully by the first of June she'll be through with orientation and available to be our tour guide! :) just kidding Monica. I'll definitely have to do some more research on this. PLUS - where do we want to go? Chaing Mai where there are Jungles? Puket for the beaches? or Bangkok for the city? Right now I'm thinking Chaing Mai...We could always fly into Bangkok and take a train there..it doesn't look THAT far away from Chaing Mai :D Puket would definitely be a long train ride..Mmm..
This morning was EXTREMELY busy. It seemed like every time I blinked I had another person at my desk requesting help. It made the time go by really quickly! I spent the afternoon rather lonely working on the SIGIR Report. I was able to make someone's day by creating a program that removes all the hyperlinks in a page. :) Woohoo!
The people who were in the room we moved into, before us gave us a gift today..their old sheets! They had been given sheets that fit the beds when pushed together from the people that were in that room before them, so they passed them on! How nice. They're a pretty blue color. We'll probably wash them tonight and then see how they fit. Mike and I are going to finish moving our stuff tonight. Not much left - just a couple bookshelves and random items from the room.
Guess it's time to head home. Talk to you guys later!
