Fortunately, the poor weather that followed us to and from Knoxville didn't stick around the area for the weekend. It was perfect temperatures for some tailgating and a football game. We joined Mike's family for the Volunteers vs. Georgia game in Knoxville and cheered the Volunteers on to victory! It was a good game. Their seats are positioned just outside the student section so energy was high, especially with the offense playing at their best...felt like I was in college again :)

The sun peaked out of the clouds on Sunday for some golfing at the Gatlinburg Golf Course. It is a beautiful course...and I only lost a few balls! We paired up Lee and Christina vs Cindy and Mike for a Best Ball Match.. You'll never guess who won? :) Good thing I had Lee to carry me. ;)

Other than that, it was great food and company for a nice relaxing weekend away from work (well, mostly...darn Blackberry). To top it off, on the way out of the state, we stopped at a Tennessee Winery and picked up some yummy local cheeses and wine to enjoy once we got home. No complaints there!

Thank you Lee & Cindy for inviting us over!
