I really had a great time this weekend. Kari came to visit and Mike left town so we had a few days of girl's time together. We went to the Cardinals vs. Brewers game on Friday (where the Brewer's won!), celebrated at the Bailey's Chocolate Bar over dark chocolate raspberry martinis, went shopping on Saturday, tasted the wines of the area at the St. Louis Wine Festival in Forest Park, dined at Oceanos, St. Louis' number one restaurant for seafood, and went to the Missouri's Best Market at the Botanical Garden's on Sunday! Kari even joined me for a yoga session on Friday. It was good fun. :)
Now it's back to work with a weekend in Knoxville to look forward to. It's so nice to have our weekends back!
My husband and I WERE contractors in Iraq supporting the reconstruction effort. We’re still on the program, but now from the good ol’ USA. We continue to keep this blog updated on a regular basis for our family and friends. Welcome!
